of Hetauda was crowned Miss Nepal World 2018 as she beat 24 other contestants to win the coveted title.The grand finale of the beauty pageant was held at hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg on April 11. An architect by profession, Khatiwada was crowned by the last year winner Nikita Chandak. Along with the crown, present miss nepal world Shrinkhala Khatiwada will represent Nepal in upcoming Miss World Pageant.
"What three tasks need to be performed to make a prosperous Nepal and happy Nepal?" this question is asked with the final 7 contestant by the chief judge Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati who is chairperson of the Hidden Treasure too.
The nnswer by Khatiwada leads her to be the Miss Nepal World 2018, which was: “I believe there’s a lot that needs to be done to make our country a developed one. However, if I have to think of three major changes that can happen, first we need to change the bureaucratic system of our country, which is so corrupt from the grassroots to the top. The second is I would like to empower the youth. Youth, the majority of population of our country, can make big changes, if we try. If youth put their hands together to make our country prosperous, if we lead our country with vision, if we become job creators, visionaries, create employment opportunities by ourselves by trusting the government; then in the end, we all Nepalis should be able to trust in ourselves, it’s like a ripple effect of positivity. If one person brings a big change, it’s like a drop on the ocean that spreads out among the thousands of minds that brings positivity in the nation. I believe that we all will join hands together and believe that we can bring big changes.”

As soon as getting the title of of Miss Nepal World, she posted a photo to her Instagram account and wrote: " "Words are often inadequate to express my joy for your help. For sharing mt dreams; for your invaluable help, support and patience, I say thank you all."
In the grand finale,
Manita Devkota belongs form Gurkha won the title of Miss Universe was crown from Nagma Shrestha and will represent Nepal in Miss Universe in China.
Priya Sigdel Belongs from Kathmandu won the title of Miss Earth was crown from Miss Nepal earth 2017 Rojina Shrestha and will represent Nepal in the Miss Earth in the Philippines.

Ronali Amatya won the title of Miss International was crown from Miss Neal International 2017 Niti Shah and will represent Nepal in the Miss International.
All four winners won a cash prize of Rs 100,000. While, Khatiwada also received Yamaha Fascino Scooter, Colors S11 phone and tickets from Turkish and Thai Airlines.
